 The new version of Axence nVision® 12.5 was designed to adapt software to changing working models. The number of companies and organizations that also operate in remote (or hybrid) mode after the pandemic is growing every day. It brings the need for even more scrupulous work time accounting and remote user support.&nbsp;
The private time is here to help – the new functionality in SmartTime module has been developed to give possibility to disable the analysis of user activity when the computer is used for private purposes. Importantly, this does not reduce the level of protection of the company's equipment in any way, as all the protection offered by nVision works as before.&nbsp;
Another important novelty is the ability to manage local user accounts in Windows. The function allows you remotely create / delete an account, change the password or edit permissions.&nbsp; &nbsp; Version 12.5 also offers greater flexibility in managing administrator logs. Now they can be viewed not only in the nVision console, but also exported to external repositories and analyzed using all the functionalities provided by Syslog class systems.

 On the other hand, however, when any IT-related problem arises, the administrator is the only one who is the most reliable and responsible person we come to for a solution.
The Administrator’s daily work is faced with a number of challenges. But above all, it has to ensure continuous and smooth operations of both the IT equipment and the business services under all conditions, says Marcin Matuszewski, Senior IT Support Engineer at Axence, the IT management and security solution producer.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
<h3>REMOTE WORK IS THE MAIN CHALLENGE&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</h3>
Today, the main challenge for network administrators in many companies around the world is to support remote work due to the current coronavirus pandemic. A lot of employees request for remote work assignment on their own initiative, but a large number of companies now consider home office as a standard policy of operation. According to Gartner research, as many as 88% of organizations worldwide have implemented mandatory remote work or encouraged their employees to do so.&nbsp;Many companies introduced hybrid work mode and perhaps it will stay with them permanently. Despite the relaxation of the pandemic restrictions, IT Admin has to be prepared for the possible need to return to full remote work.&nbsp;
The main obligation of the administrator is to secure employee network traffic, increase data security and provide work accountability, according to Marcin Matuszewski. I would also like to draw attention to the fact that sometimes a parent may make their company equipment available to their child or spouse, and this also affects the security of company data. The parent leaves the computer with the child who may click something inadvertently and cause the computer to become infected. In terms of security, the admins have to look very widely and educate employees - especially during home office, he explains.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 <h2>The latest Axence nVision® version introduces key improvements. Because of deepening integration nVision’s console with Active Directory and new widgets in AdminCenter the organisation's security is enhanced.</h2>

 Improved integration enables that Axence nVision® now has access to information about computers prom Active Directory. Now you can easily check which computers already have the Agent installed and which ones are still not monitored. This knowledge will allow us to change it and remove the gaps in our security. In addition to information about the device itself, we can now also check which Organizational Unit (OU) belongs to and make groups based on this affiliation. 
Another place that will show us the devices that should be especially taken care of is the new widget in AdminCenter presenting the last devices detected in the network. Work in dashboards is also facilitated by filters added in the latest version. Thanks to them, we can filter out low priority events from our views and focus only on those that are serious and critical. Another new, useful filter is the ability to group actions performed on files by device type.

AdminCenter aggregates the most important parameters, events and incidents detected by nVision and presents them on interactive dashboards which can be displayed on TV screens or monitors. You decide which events are critical for your IT network and which information you want to put on your view - efficiency of devices in your network, changes in hardware and software configuration, open HelpDesk tickets, connected devices and many more events. Metrics are updated every 60 seconds, giving you real-time visibility of all relevant information from the network in one place.&nbsp;
An unlimited number of dashboards will allow you to create multiple views depending on your expectations - you can create a separate view of IT security parameters, a separate one for people responsible for technical support, and you can make other data available for business.&nbsp;&nbsp;
It all depends on your current needs. The widgets in AdminCenter are fully responsive and adapted to display even on the largest TVs, so you can use it to turn your workplace into a real IT command center.&nbsp;

 <h2>The release of the newest nVision version is fast approaching. Learn more about a new functionality which will allow you to create an IT management and security center.</h2>

 IT departments nowadays have more and more challenges and responsibilities. Increased network traffic, remote work, hacker attacks. Those who are responsible for IT have a need for constant access to live updated information and data to prevent incidents. Therefore, it is worth getting acquainted with the possibilities of a new nVision version. Thanks to this, the administrator will be able to build an IT management and security center to get full visibility of events or incidents in the company's IT network. The administrator not only can monitor the company's security - see unusual employee behavior or recently connected devices, but also have a live view of the key IT parameters like link overload, processor load, HelpDesk tickets or alerts.&nbsp;
In the new nVision version you will be able to build your own dashboards showing key IT parameters which can be displayed on TV screens or monitors. You can display specific dashboards on screens in IT’s rooms and allow your colleagues to observe the same network parameters as you. Moreover, you can also arrange a various set of widgets on separate screens to display them to specific groups of employees – giving them an insight only to areas which they are responsible for.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The number of dashboards which you can create is unlimited and their content is dependent on your own settings, needs and preferences.&nbsp;

New nVision feature - build your own management and security center

 <h2>With new version of our software we enabled the option of choosing two new languages in nVision interface. In addition to English and Polish we added Bulgarian and Lithuanian language.</h2>

 Software development it’s not just providing new features. Very often it’s focusing directly on individual needs of our clients to facilitate their everyday use of nVision system. From now our Bulgarian and Lithuanian users can install nVision 11.9 and use it in their native languages. New interface languages available

 <h2>It is already the third upgrade of our software this year. After renewing the Inventory module and adding remote access, the time has come for significant changes in HelpDesk and DataGuard improvements.</h2>
 
 <div class="ce_text block">
 A key novelty is the management of ticket visibility which helps the specific employees of the support department to focus only on tickets assigned to them. It is particularly helpful in companies handling external tickets and multi-branch organizations because it reduces to a minimum the risk of a leak of data often confidential to the public.
In the newest version of nVision tickets management and division of tasks between support employees becomes a lot easier. Now they can assign tickets on the basis of the group to which the submitting person belongs. It is possible to define a rule which – for example – allows specific support employee to receive all tickets originating from the employees who belong to the "Marketing Department” group.
We also implemented a new automation mechanism, a report summing up all instances of exceeding the SLA metrics, an opportunity to publish internal articles and to add comments to closing tickets. The extended search engine in the HelpDesk module allows for the search for attachments and a detailed search through the comment section.
DataGuard module which effectively deal with external data carriers contol, now can do the same thing with local directories – limit access to specifc documents, monitor and alert about dangerous operations on files.
